Lilly died....

My husband just called me to tell me our Barred rock Lilly died.... She was always healthy... we went away for one night and came back last night and this morning Eddie checked on the chicken's and Lilly was on her back twitching... I have no idea how this could have happened she was always very healthy and active. RIP Lilly... we hardly knew thee.

my wife told me not to name mine yet, just for that reason....
But I couldn't help it, I have named quite a few of them already, I lost one the first night... Luckily it wasn't one that I had named yet. If Spazz or Bling had died, I would have been 10x more upset

Sorry for your loss, but chin up, If I did my chicken math correctly... lose one bird, get 3 to replace her?
