Lime Green Egg White in Duck Egg

Has anyone ever come across a lime green egg white in a duck egg? One of my duck egg customers came across this & asked me about it. In the 6 years I have been raising ducks this is the only time I have come across this so I was not able to answer her. Concerned the egg is not safe to eat with this issue. Any idea as to what would cause this? My duck breeds are Khaki Campbell, Golden 300 Hybrid & Welsh Harlequin.

That's what I am wondering, however the eggs are only a couple weeks old.

Ah yeah I think sometimes it just depends on the conditions they were stored in but it's not unusual to have one go bad quicker than others every now & then.

Was it sitting in the coop for very long, maybe partially incubated after maybe a hen slept on it, or played another egg on top of it?
