I've got five large dogs and a big fenced area for them to do their biz and play. My soil is sandy and absorbs everything, so you can imagine that with five of them the pen gets.....pretty dang stinky. I've used a pet yard odor spray on it before and it didn't last long. Can I use lime and will it work well for this type of application? Will it be safe for my dogs? How would I apply it? What are some other things I could use to get rid of that nasty urine odor?!
