Limp got worse after bumblefoot removal

I can't get any aspirin, all the stores near me have been sold out.
I could have her sleep in the second coop, it dosen't have roots just lay boxes.
Should I not change the bandage every day?

Thank you, her foot is definitely a little better today.

She is limping a little less today and definitely seems more energetic. The wound hasn't scabbed over yet the insides of her foot are still exposed. I cut off her bandage, applied more antibiotic ointment, and wrapped her up again.
Here is her foot today.

That look good to me. Continue with the abx. and wrapping. I just re-read my post - oops! yes, change the dressing daily (what was I thinking...)
I think sleeping off the roost will be good for her for a couple of days then re-evaluate. :)

Okay so it's been five days since I cut out the infection last. She is still limping, but it has greatly improved, she spent a night off the roost that definitely did her good, but I let her go back because she was super stressed being alone in the second coop. I'm still a little concerned about her foot, she is still limping, any other time I've done this they've improved within two or three days and usually less, but I've never had an infection this severe before.

On another note her breathing has gotten substantially worse this week, as I've mentioned she has a reproductive disorder she's been showing symptoms of for one year as of late February.
I've been waiting for her to go down hill again, I figured it would happen in the spring since egg production picks up in the spring.
She's still my girl though, she's eating and drinking and pecking at the birds below her.

If she has an ongoing respiratory thing, you might be best taking her to the vet. Failing that try an antibiotic like Baytril. It will help the foot heal too.

She's been on antibiotics before, they didn't improve her breathing. It seems to be a reproductive disorder of some kind, because she gets considerably worse during the spring, last year she improved during the summer and fall.
Yesterday she actually squatted for me, which was very odd since she hasn't laid an egg in two years and hasn't squatted for me in three.
I'm trying to get her foot to heal up fast so she can live the last year of her life in peace, I really don't think she's going to last until next spring but she's surprized me before. She got so sick last year I was planning on euthanizing her, but she improved before I got up the nerve.

Hi did the limp ever improved? I got a hen going through this and it’s been a month maybe a month and half and she is still limping after I did the bumblefoot surgery…
