My 5month old Buff Japanese bantam roo has a limp tail for the last few weeks. Its not broken and he can hold it stiff and upright like it is supposed to be. Most of the time when he is out in the yard walking around it kind of flops to one side or the other, not completely limp but floppy. If he gets startled, if I pick him up or he runs it goes back to normal. I have held him and moved his tail around and felt it and it doesn't hurt him and feels normal. Is there something wrong with him or is he just to lazy to hold his own tail up when he is lounging in the yard? I tried to get pics of his tail limp but anytime I have the camera out there he holds it upright, go figure right!!!

Thanks, Meg

He eats, drinks, and poops ok ???? Seems fine besides that ???? I would guess that its just a lazy thing or maybe he's just hanging out and feels like letting it all hang !!!! I wouldnt be too worried if he seems otherwise healthy !!!!!
