Limping - appears to have broken claw

Hi,

We've had chickens for a few months and noticed that our little black bantam has started limping. We washed and examined her legs and we think that she has broken off her back claw on the bad leg. Apart from that she seems to be okay, and she continues to run around when she feels like it - but when standing still tends to draw the sore one towards her so she is only standing on the good one.

My question is whether the nail/claw should just regrow in time and if we should do anything other then keeping an eye on her?

I am only new to keeping chickens and had a limping hen..... it turned out to be she needed more calcium in her diet..... not sure if this helps you....

Is the claw missing or still there?
