Hi.
My baby Barbara (4 weeks old) has been limping for 3 days. I think she hurt herself jumping out of the paddling pool they were in. She can walk but the limp is noticeable and age sits more than the others. We can't see anything wrong cut etc. I am following feeding guidance of Kimberly Link and feeding then on Small Holders Goose and Duck crumb. I don't feed them anything else and don't plan to until 7 weeks. I did but some Brewers Yeast when she first began limping.
Would it help?
Does she need another form of treatment?
With regards to the Brewers Yeast, does she need her own food bowl?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Xxx

Most likely a sprain and they usually heal pretty well from them, just limit her moving around for a few days so she gives it rest. Nutritional yeast is actually better at giving niacin than brewers yeast https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/nutritional-yeast-vs-brewers-yeast.1393856/ Leg support is very important for all duckling even when feeding a feed that says it supplies all the niacin they need some still will come up with a niacin deficiency. If you have one that shows signs of struggling to walk, legs appear weak and shaky then you get them on liquid B complex.
Hopefully, she will be back to running around in a few days. Make sure they can get in an out of the pool safely.

Thank you. Is any vitamin b complex liquid ok? Will I need to give the yeast aswell?

I was in the process of lifting them out and she was too impatient xxx
