Hey all!
I have a 5 week old Olive Egger who just started limping/holding one foot up. She is in a pen inside with 4 other chicks. However I didn’t notice the limping until we had let her out of the pen. Not sure what happened. 🤷‍♀️ As far as I know she looks and acts the same. Just wondering if there is anything I should be doing for her? Or if it should just heal on its own? I can try to get a picture. Thanks!

Could have tweaked it somehow, it happens. As long as it's doing ok, eating, drinking, not at risk of getting hurt by the others, I would just keep an eye on it. If there is risk of further injury because it's having any trouble, you may have to separate it. Watch for any bruising (may look greenish) or swelling, any obvious signs of fracture like bent toes or toes folding under, those might need to be splinted if so. If it's just sprain or strain they usually resolve, how long depends on how severe.
