My 5 year old bufforp hen is limping on one foot like it hurts really bad. I just noticed about 10 minutes ago when she was sitting on the ground resting. She was normal a few hours ago...
She layed an egg today and crop is full of food she ate today. We inspected her foot it looks normal with a small white spot... Normal? How can i help her and what caused this?

I dont know much about the white spot. Could she have landed funny after a jump or fly session?

If she gets on the roost and hangs on i qould let it go until tomorrow. If she can't get on the roost, maybe bring her inside for the evening.

Either way i would isolate her at some point and observe and see if you can tell where the pain is coming from

Soak a rag in warm epson salts water and hold it against her foot. Make sure she doesn't drink the water from the rag it can be a laxative. I don't know what the white spot is but the epson salts will help.

Thanks! I tried to put the warm tag on her foot but I could only hold it on for a minute because of her flapping a lot. When she runs she looks like she is hopping

She is better today less limping. She is still limping a little but much less, she still likes to sit though. I don't know if that's cause she's tired or some other reason... Crop and abdomen are normal but she is shaking like she is shivering slightly.

Try putting some neosporin without the pain relief on her foot or anytype of antibotic creme on it. If you don't have that bactine or colorless iodine.I hope she gets to feeling better.
