I have a 24 month old faverolle that stared limping yesterday. I caught her and looked at her legs and she appears to have some injury. I am not sure what it is or how to treat it. I sprayed it with vetericyn last night and today. Any advice is appreciated. She is sure a sweet gal and one of my consistent layers. Picture of her foot/leg is attached.

If the skin isn't broken, I don't think spraying with Vetricyn will help, and I'm not sure from looking at the photo. Maybe try soaking her foot/leg in Epsom salts and warm water?

I recently had a duck that started limping. The cut in her foot was so small, I didn't see it. Her leg joint eventually got extremely swollen, and she couldn't walk She ended up with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, and I ended up with large vet bills.

Hope you get your girl better and fast.

Good idea. I'll do that today.
