limping hen, bumblefoot?

thats her foot top. maybe scaly mite based on pictures ive seen online. i'll do it regardless. i'm worried about alcohol on the wounded foot but i assume i'll know right away if it bothers her or not

If it is, it's a pretty mild case.
Well if it does you can use something greasy and just work it in under the scales with an old toothbrush. That should smother them without causing her any pain.
 
i actually couldn't find my alcohol so i used peroxide. which also is pretty old and maybe useless. then i couldn't find vasoline haha. i need to make a store run.

Just be careful with using peroxide around bumblefoot, it can cause tissue damage on the bumble wound and slow the healing process if it's too strong.
 
she's been out for a bit now and while still slow she doesn't obviously limp when i get her to walk. i do see her stumble at times like if flurries around and they scatter then she spreads her wing sand stumbles over.
