Limping hen, but I can't see any cause. Need advice.

Thank you so much for all of the info. That does give me some hope that it's an injury because she does tend to pick it up and put it down a lot when she standing still. I am on the road for a few more hours, but when I get where I'm going I will work on that video for you. Thank you again so much!!

I lied. I got antsy and stopped at a rest area. :) Here's the link. I hope it works. Isn't she just stinking cute!!? I love her to pieces!

Looks like she's lifting and placing it gingerly to me....more like what I've seen with injury, possibly to the hip from rooster mating or jumping down.

What I've seen has been more dragging the foot or the foot collapsing from weakness when I suspicion Marek's.

What say you?

That does look like it could be from an injury.

Thanks for the advice. I still have the three quarantines. They aren't any worse, maybe a little better. I let the three out separately in the yard to bop around/ eat some grass each day- sometimes I see a limp, sometimes not. It IS more of a picking one foot up and clenching it before putting it back down, but like I said- its not all the time. I wormed the whole flock, have them all on vitamins, everyone got a sevin dusting, coops are cleaned with new bedding... and now I wait.

The affected hens are all ISA brown sex links just over a year old. I also have A roo and two hens that are between 3-5 years old, and 9 teenagers from this year that I just mixed in. They have been in direct contact with the flock since they were feathered out and moved outside though-with wire between them. Its been 10 days since I noticed the first limper... wouldn't more be "sick" by now or wouldn't they be worse if were something serious though? There are not other symptoms other than the limp. I have raised chickens for years and have never had three be down at one time

I went out of town for three days while my other half took care of the babies, & I left them in their coop the whole time. She still has a limp, but I don't see anything else going on. Will continue to keep an eye on it. Meanwhile, I am battling roundworms for the 3rd time in 4-6 months. I don't want to keep stressing their little bodies out with meds, but I also can't let the worms take over. I am getting very frazzled trying to beat this & I feel like I'm failing!
@chefchick, I'm glad your babies aren't getting worse. Keep us posted!
