Here is a link to read, just scroll down to taping toes:

Hi she's still limping and not putting pressure on the foot I wrapped her leg up and tried to splint her toe but I don't think its working, she's separated in the laying area and eating and drinking fine and still laying, (unless it's another hen that's laying and she's sitting on the eggs) is there anything else I could try

Have you tried some vitamin B complex 1/4 tablet crushed onto some food daily? Does she noramlly eat layer feed? The scratch grains will dilute her protein and vitamins in her diet. I would only give a handfull or cut out the scratch. If her foot splint seems to bother her, you could just see how she gets along without it.

Ok thanks I will try giving her vitamin b does that help with healing, and il stick with layers then instead of scratch, without the splint she still doesn't put pressure on the foot its mostly to try and keep her toe straight it looks like it might be the problem her leg feels normal its just the middle toe that feels loose and limp

Hi she is still limping but seems to have gotten used to it now and is able to move around, I let her back in with the other hens and rooster and they are ok with her they aren't picking on her anymore so that's a relief but they still won't let her sleep in their coop yet so she's sleeping in the laying area, she is eating and drinking ok and doesn't appear to be in pain, not sure if she is healing or not though, here's a short video of how she is now
