hi! One of my ladies has been limping and favoring her left leg for about a week now. I have checked several times for signs of bumblefoot but don't see any sores or scabs, or even swelling. Assuming that she must have just sprained or pulled a muscle, maybe landed wrong when getting down from the roosts, I have just been soaking her feet in epsom salt and warm water, then applying iodine to help keep any cut I might not be seeing from getting infected. I've read conflicting opinions about giving them baby aspirin, so haven't been medicating her. So far the other hens aren't picking on her, she's still eating and drinking ok, and she (hobbles) but gets around alright. Should a week have been long enough to heal if it was just a muscle injury? Are there other things I should be looking for? What do you think about giving her part of a baby aspirin? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Attached is a picture of how she has been standing...

Please don't medicate your chicken for a slight limp.
I haven't been, since reading that it just masks the pain and then they can injure themselves even more. Just wasn't sure how long to expect it to last. I've tried to find a chicken vet, ha! No luck so far with that.
