Hello all, I have a nearly 2 year old male Pekin who has been limping for about 2 weeks now. He is quite a big boy and started walking with a slight limp maybe 2 months ago. He could still keep up with his 2 other Pekin females, no problem. His limp got really bad about 2 weeks ago and was very noticable. It is his left leg. I have them in a outside run with a shelter and pond. He did not have an accident or injury and there are no clear signs of trauma. His foot is clean with no bumblefoot, he has no swelling on his leg. It actually looks quite normal compared to his right leg. And the degree of lameness is different from day to day. Some days, he can hardly put any weight on it and puts his wing out to catch himself and other days he walks on it. I am treating him with asprin in his water and that seems to relieve some pain. His eyes also run abit. Other then that he is a very happy duck who loves his 2 friends. He eats normal, has normal poop and is quite active in his pond.

I mayeb think it is something higher up above his leg, maybe in the joint? I am open to all ideas or opinions, I just want to if anyone else has gone through this. I love this guy so much and it breaks my heart to see him on his bad days, I just want to make his pain go away. I have had him since hatching and his 2 other friends love him as well. Thank you for all your help! I added some pictures of when he could walk around the yard.
