We have a 5 mo. Polish/Black Star cross (Blue

)who's been limping on & off for a little over a week & it's getting progressively worse (today she only puts it down to hobble around). We've checked & see nothing other than a tiny little mark right where her leg goes into her foot - it looks like a scale is lifted just a bit. No bugs or anything on any of the others either. Does anybody have any ideas what we can do for her? Luckily, no roosters are bothering her yet but I'm wondering if we should seperate her for a few days? Thanks in advance! Jenn

check the foot pad very well...look for any sore, scab, heat, or swelling..even a splinter, or thorn, piece of glass, etc..

as silkiechicken posted..it could be Bumblefoot.

in the meantime..separate her to a safe place with soft bedding, and close access to food and water so she can rest the leg/foot.
