Limping Rooster

My rooster came running for food, I went inside, came back outside and he was sitting down. One of his feet is swollen and is black underneath. Does this sound like anything? Could he have just sprained his foot running so fast? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

hope that helps. He is going to the vet tomorrow. I don't feel qualified to handle any treatment he may have to have by myself. He is sitting quite comfortablly in his run with the girls.

sure. I hope they will not find anything too serious and I can take him home and treat him. I'll let you know.

They will fix him up just nicely of you.
Most likely send you home with antibiotics too.
