Thanks! She’s not crazy about the peroxide it does bubble a little. I’m thinking to give another Epson salt cool soak but not sure as I want wound to heal. Any thoughts?

I don't know if I would continue to soak her.
Unless she gets the area dirty somehow.
I too say no more peroxide.

She doesn't need to be soaked any longer. The wound looks very clean. Do you have Vetericyn plus? That is an excellent antibiotic treatment. You can also continue with the triple antibiotic ointment but the spray will coat it better IMO. Manuka honey is another recommended treatment. Just don't put her back out until she is well scabbed over to protect her from flystrike.

Thanks! Penelope is my problem chicken she gets egg bound monthly so that’s why we soak in Epson. She did drop a very soft egg which I threw away.

I don’t have Vetericyn plus but will check the store or Amazon. Thanks for the advice. I have to fix the wiring on the coup as the dogs head went right through it. I put chairs there so they can’t escape.
