Where do you keep it? Is it near the water source? I'm just wondering if you loose feed to being water logged? I am interested in getting one of these for my geese and ducks.

Their water is about 6-8 feet away. There hasn't seemed to be any issues with it so far. We've had one girl try to perch on it, when she couldn't get her fat, feathered butt into the chow line, but she quickly found she couldn't stay on top of it. Yay, seeing as that was something I was hoping for. This morning, I had to empty it of snow (we haven't yet put up a half-roof to keep weather off it), but it was simply a matter of lifting it off the screws, dumping it out and dropping it back onto the screws. Easy peasy.
