Lining inside walls, alternatives to plywood?

we can get it a few places locally, but i'd never bought any before. i'm not planning on going that pricey for the coop i'm working on now, but it's on my wishlist for the palace upon which i'm constantly cogitating.

That's what I did too. I even put Home Depot's $11 per 4x8 sheets of white shower panels on the walls.

When we tore down the old lean-to adjacent to our coop, we saved the metal roofing and used it to line the vertical walls inside the coop. No weasels are entering through the sidewalls, ever!
