lionhead bunny has runny eyes

my year old lionhead "Jet" has developed runny eyes. does anybody have any suggestions . i brought him in the house this morning to clean his eyes, and was thinking about administering an antibiotic but just wanted to get some help if I could.

i case anyone is interested... the propen antibiotic worked within 48 hours and "Jetty" is clear eyed and HOPPY
