Here is a picture to show my teenie, sticky chick that I had to help hatch:

There are still 5 eggs not quite due to hatch (I forgot that I set them in three batches).

Are you still putting them on shavings straight out of the hatcher?

You are getting bad as me about remembering 'what was set when'

That's why I write the date they were laid on the egg as soon as I bring them out of the coops.
Then I write the date set on the egg when I set them.

I hope the rest are all blues

ps: I've yet to get pics of the Hamburg chicks --- they are so tiny and precious.

I did not put any of them on shavings until yesterday. They all were eating and drinking fine, so I decided it would be okay. The reason there is shavings in all the pictures is because I used the bag of shavings as my "photo box"
