List of Online Hatcheries

i haven't read through all the posts, buut I ordered from welps hatchery last spring, and they were wonderful. I ordered 7 breeds of chickens and 4 breeds of ducks. The birds were all healthy, and what few I lost to shiping were either replaced or credited to my account. They sent extra birds as well, so I did really well, The cornish x put on weight well, and my egg layers have all done beautifully. Some were rarer breeds, Anconas, magpie ducks, the rest were heritage breeds, RIR,BO,SLW,BA, Aand some cochins. My only complaint was that my cochin assortment ended up to be all black, and that my SLW were not marked as well as I would have liked, but i understand that is pretty common. Their customer service was excellent, and I adore my birds. if I had room i would order more this spring.

I just wanted to thank you for posting this. I was surprised to see Decorah Hatchery on the list. Its a fairly small hatchery thats very close to me. I hadn't realized that it was that well known. Good job!

Has anyone had any good luck with ordering silkies from Hatcheries? Right now it would be just for pet quality. But I want my pets to have those cute top-knots

I order Meat birds and Sex Links in Large Quantities of 100 or more from Central Hatchery in Nebraska! They have the best prices by far. Cornish X go for $75 for 100 st run day olds and $110 for 100 Red Sex Link Pullets. They are really nice and have good quality birds!
