Hello, I'm new here and need a little help.Yesterday, I purchased 6 chicks from the local Atwoods. Four of them are straight runner regular chicks, and two are Bantems.Of the two Bantems I have a very small black one which i believe to be a black rosecomb.Anyways, this little guy sleeps constantly. It can walk fine when awake,it just seems to have a very bad case of narcolepsy.I have been reading up on the forums about the sugar water and such, but is there really a need for concern? He doesnt limp and pips every now and again. Also the others kind of run him over.Do i need to seperate him? Oh the bedding is dried leaves,i just put down to keep thier feet dry,and the others like it,fresh water,Manna pro medicated crumbles,a stick to perch and a heat lamp with the temp at 95 degrees.
