Listless laying pullet - Good news! **Last Update **

Just plain unsalted pumpkin seeds; I get them from the bulk bins at the grocery store or the health food store, either one. Just chop them up or put some in their scratch or in the buttermilk itself. They love them and they are a natural wormer. Curcurbit in the pumpkin seeds paralyzes the worms so they can be expelled. Of course you could get the actual pumpkin, but mine dont like raw squash.

Thanks for the new lessons I learned today. My grown birds as well as some of the younger ones are free ranging at the moment, and they come running for treats. This will give something new to give them! And be beneficial too.

Rosalie's fecal came back....no parasites at all including cocci. I don't regret worming her but it just makes it all the more confusing as to what was wrong with her

I guess she was just having a few bad days like we all have. She's better now, back to her normal feisty, rotten self...pecking on the little ones and trying to rule the roost so I'm happy.
