I purchased 5 - 3 month old pullets from the local poultry club a month ago. up until 2 weeks ago they were all doing well eating, drinking, in general very active. Then 1 of the girls started to act a little listless & walked around hunched up but still eating & drinking, Stools appear normal but darker than the rest, she has no visiable injuries, no abnormal discharge from eyes or nose, breathing is normal, no sneezing or coughing has been noted. I've been feeding a grower crumble supplemented with greens, earthworms, occational plain yogart & what ever they find on the ground in their pen. They are housed in a large pen with pine & redwood shavings because the ground has been damp so was hoping to soak up some of the excess moisture with the shavings. The Coop is on a raised platform & it also has shavings inside to help with the manure control. I had separated her out from the rest of the flock a few days ago just to keep a closer eye on her however tonight because it was going to be a bit chilly I put her back with the rest of the girls after they when to bed. She felt very thin to me which I hadn't noted before. Any one have any ideas on what might be her problem?
