My favorite of the olive egger chicks.

I have no idea what genetics this coloring is expressing, but with these soft shades she's one of the few gold birds I've ever liked.

A few years back, my hens hatched out a few dozen chicks. The father of most of them was my Easter egger. He has blue orpington in his mix. There were some really pretty birds from that hatch. The blue and gold were a nice contrast.

I've never seen the parents of these chicks since I traded hatching eggs with someone.

I know that the roosters in the flock are Marans but not which kind and that the hens are Easter Eggers -- I picked the bluest of the eggs to set.

I've bred Doris to many different patterned hens. I've gotten several interesting birds.
Your blue Australorp should give you some interesting chicks. Especially if bred to easter eggers. You never know what you're going to get with them.
