It would be good to clean the scab with Betadine or Chlorhexidene mixed with water. If it seems like an abscess, it may need to be lanced and cleaned out. I would worry that she may be suffering from coccidiosis or a respiratory infection, since she is so inactive. What do you think?

Last night we cleaned the scab. She walked around the coop and I haven’t noticed sneezing trouble breathing or watery eyes. My boyrfriend and I are quite honestly so nervous about lancing it. What if we are wrong and hurt her. I’ve tried looking up videos and forums. The vet was NO help. She is the sweetest baby.

You may want to just monitor the lump for the few days to see if there is any change in it and just treat the sore.
