little chick sitting up acting like it cannot catch its breath! Help.

Well I think you guys are all correct. It is just getting better every day. Got home late last night and went out and woke em all up just to check on the little guy and he was still kicking. It is so adorable when they stick their heads out from under the momma through her feathers! I love it. My husband was like "it is just a little bird, what is the problem!"but I was so worried about it. Thank you so much for your support and knowledge. I am very grateful that I found this site. I am going to go get them some meal worms today. Again thanks so much for your help. I am glad to see other people so "into" their chickens! Have a great day all.

Well yesterday morning the little chick was running around and looked great. Three hours later I went out and he was on his side dead! It was still warm when I picked it up and it looked like it just went to sleep. Maybe it was a birth defect. But anyway it had fun up until the end. But it is crazy how bad I feel.

Others say it is just a chicken! I am so glad to have found this site! Thanks for everyone's help.
