Little chick with weird neck?

On of my little chicks, who is about a week old now, shakes his/her head like he/she is saying no, then its little head will almost like get stuck looking on way. Is there something wron with my little chick?

Could be wry neck. I had one that did that and was told to give poly vi sol (baby vitamins) without iron. I did that for all my chicks and it seemed to do the trick. I would try it with yours and see if it helps. I did it for about a week. Put a drop on your finger and rub it along the beak till it takes it in. I did it 3-4 times a day. I also put some in their water, just a couple of drops. It stopped my chick from head shaking and flipping over. Good luck!

One more thing to think about is echo. Is you chick doing this while you are talking to her inside of the brooder or near a wall? Chicks (and adults) will shake their heads if they hear and echo. I you have other chicks in the same place that are not reacting the same way when you speak then try the polyvisol without iron.
