Yes, I was afraid of that - this is why our first three were three specific planned breeds that look different and lay different color eggs. One of ours was not the breed she was supposed to be, so we added in one more - so two of them will be brown egg layers, but that's how it goes I guess.

But I find it so relaxing to take care of my birds and animals.

With only 2 brown layers, you may still be able to tell who lays what. They are very often not the same shape, size, or shade.

It's definitely nice to be able to tell birds and their eggs apart. It clues you in much easier if anybody is facing issues.
