Little Giant Automatic Waterer Parts?

I'm responding again to this older thread. I have had leaking problems with my auto waterers. I bought some new tire valves and they worked for awhile and started leaking again. The problem is that they are made with steel and rusted in the stems. I couldn't get them out and it didn't take long for them to rust to the point that they can't be removed from the stems. I called Miller Mfg Little Giant. The stem costs as much as replacing the complete bowl with parts. I have learned that the tire valves need to be made of brass. I hope this helps someone else. I have recently replaced 4 bowls and am ordering a couple more for replacements.

I was able to find a valve tool and FOUR new valves in the auto section at wal-mart for $1.85

I just received a replacement valve for my Little Giant fountain. How do I do it?

Finally figured it out!!! Leaky right from day one w an overflowed bowl. Replaced & same thing with new fount.
The VALVE gets LOOSE in shipping & leaks.
all that is needed it to tighten the valve. It threads in like a bolt does to a nut. Can also order a TOOL to do this & replacement valves on Amazon
