little giant bator

Anyone have a little giant 9200 bator? Is it good, and do you only fill middle tray and day 18 fill all?

I have 2 lil giants and I really don't like them. I lost a lot of hatches in them due to the temp just takes forever to regulate and boom it overheats on you. So I go with the hovabator , I got the newer model last year and love it. A near perfect hatch every time!

i have 2 of thelm had good luck last year with one just starting this year temp is a little hard to adjust i have egg truners so i set 41 at a time fill the water cups in the bottem and check the water every 3 to 4 days and fill if needed on day 18 i lay the eggs on there side on the wire rack. hope this helps.

add sponges on day 18. Layer the bottom on one side with sponges and use a straw to add water. Very Simple. U can't go wrong with an LG. Just keep your eye on the temp and humidity. Good Luck.

I have 2 of the LG's with forced air and the turner. I have very good hatches from them.

I also have an LG forced air with turner. I like mine. I put a folded paper towel in it and add water with a tube and small funnel. It helps the humidity stay more constant. I set the temp and it stays there fine. I don't have problems with mine. I hatched 22 out of about 27 or 28 last hatch. Hope you have a great hatch!!

Sorry dont like them, sold all my LG bators and got Hovabators instead.
