My husband surprised me with 2 of the new style turners last year and I had him return them.
I told him if the turner couldn't at least hold 48, I'd just as soon hand turn and be able to fit 65 eggs:

Dipsy, those are some pretty dirty eggs. Can they hatch okay? Not a criticism; i ask to learn how neurotic i need to be!!

Filthy, weren't they? They hatch just fine for me.
We must have been having a wet wet October, I don't usually see eggs quite THAT mucky.
