we chose not to bc the size is so much larger and didn't want them rolling around too much. So we purchased a box of quail rails. They were not that expensive. We figured it wasn't worth taking a chance the eggs would roll around or fall out of the chicken turners. We are new at raising birds but we felt we lucked out on our very first incubation and we got a 9/12 quail hatch. Now we are awaiting the arrival of a 27 egg incubation. Good luck with yourscan you put quail eggs in an egg turner for chicen eggs
