On 6/22 was the first time I have EVER seen the chicks moving in their shells and they started hatching the next day.

Love that style of candler. You don't even have to take the eggs out of the turner to see movement. Of course, I'd jump too if suddenly the spotlight blinded my cozy little egg chamber....

With very good/ great candlers you CAN see thru all eggs-- so I am told.
