All of my eggs are room temp but the ones I will be pulling from the coop when I get home in a few. The bator has been running for almost 24 hours and staying steady at 99.5 to 100 with no spikes or dips. 13 collected so far, 4 ameraucana/silkie mix and 9 silkie unless there are more in the coop. Fingers crossed for a good hatch.

Seems to work great for me. When I turn eggs I use a straw to push them around after lifting the picture windows off. Seems to keep heat in better. I never lift the lid during incubation. I use a piece of aquarium tubing thru a ventilation hole into the water wells. When it needs more water I use a syringe and squirt it into wells thru the tubing. I also modified it with a salvage Xbox fan, but that was after 1 good hatch.
