Yea.. she was restless the day before and then decided to be in and out of both coops and the nest boxes.. sit in one for a few minutes, get uncomfy, go to a different one, scratch around, sit a few, move to another.. the whole time being super talkative and squawking all day.. the day before she laid a shell-less egg while eating her breakfast.. was eating, looked up, bwak bwaked, and plop, then egg song lol the next day she laid the slightly bloody, formed with a hole on top, fairy egg..
The others make quick work of the egg as it popped when it hit the ground.. the leghorns are egg hounds... they know they love it but ill never let them know where the deliciousness comes from on purpose lol
Pretty sure that todays egg that i didnt know was from big red since i know shes a new layer and havent gotten one from her since she laid the mutant.. could be wrong cuz the egg was basically white or light cream.. but can it happen that the reproductive didnt pigment the shell since shes new like sometimes new layers have eggs sans shells since their body is figuring out what to do? This is the unknown egg from today
Almost like a light pink or tinted white bloom over a tan egg
