Little Lou-Not so Little!

For all of you that have been watching Little Lou, thank you so much! You’ll be happy to know that he is finally becoming a duck! He is indeed a Saxony drake. His colors are coming in and he is plumping up! Must’ve been all that kitten food...lol. He still doesn’t make much noise, but Chris likes that. I’ll probably keep putting pictures on here since he’s changing so much... I’m including ones from his duckling days. Which he looked like until a month ago. And up to now. Little Lou is 8 mths. And maybe 2 lbs?

I saw Jeffrey on here before when someone was wondering what breed their duck was. Jeffrey is one gooood looker!!

Nope...he came straight from Metzer Farm in CA...Saxony..and he was sexed as a drake...but he never looked like anything, or even made any noise but a peep

Interesting. He definitely is hatchery stock. Still a cute bird.

Nothing wrong with Hatchery stock, gorgeous ducks come from hatcheries. @Duckie doodle has gorgeous ducks and shows. I take her word for quality!
