We expected our power to go out so when it did we plugged the incubator into a battery, which we had done in the past without to much trouble. Well for some reason the battery didnt last and when we checked everyone out the next morning the incubator was below 50 degrees....we immediately changed the battery, and while about 3/4 of the eggs perished... we have 9 chicks hatching today... little miracles
