Little Miss Crazy Feathers

We've had peafowl for years and have a new issue.

One of our beautiful peahens turned up looking all tattered and disshoveled with some of her wing feathers poking out every which way. She is acting fine. She just looks like a hot mess! I don't know if its from mating or what. But she looks terrible.
Has this ever happened to anyone else before? Will she be ok?
Can I do anything about this? Or will they just fall out later?
If its only cosmetic I will stop freaking and let her be.

Any advice will be appeciated!

my guess is an attack of some sort...I had one once I called scruffy because she came in like that and was totally freaked out. I think she was setting in the woods and a predator scared her and she came flying in. she looked bad for awhile and then back to normal. good luck!
