Some of you may remember my little 4x4 coop which houses seven of my chickens, Millie the bantam mutt and her adopted 6 girls (now 22 week old standards).
Well, Even though the girls weren't complaining, I thought it would be nice to expand their quarters, so the back wall was cut out and an additional 4x4 room was built, with window. This will be their roosting area once its finished.
Here is yesterday's (late) afternoon photo so far:
(And yes, that is a grapevine, heavily loaded with clusters of grapes, that covers their run...in a month or two the girls will have ripe grapes raining down on them!! The PVC pipes you see had to be temporarily taken apart for the construction. They normally are set up to hold up the run wire covering and the weight of the loaded vine!)
