When the kids were little and we lived on the farm, on cold snowy days it was always coloring book time to ease away a wintery afternoon. Every once in awhile I would come across a picture of a hen or rooster the kids would be coloring. I traced out this little red hen years ago from one of those times and hid her away to do some embroidery work on. I came across her a month or so ago in the sewing basket and finally finished her due to this Hobby thread!! She is framed!! lol Talk about an ancient hen!
