I didn't think she had a pouf on her head--was thinking that the two colors on it were making it seem like the illusion of a pouf. If it is, it would be a Polish, but I've seen them and most have a larger pouf than it appears in that picture.

Exactly. I'm saying the bird doesn't HAVE a cap and therefore couldn't be a Polish.

Yes, it does not have a cap on the top of the head like a Polish, Crevecoer, Sultan or Silkie but it does look to have a ball of "fluff" towards the back of the head..
That fluff toward the back of the head makes me think that it carries the Crest Gene ( Cr ) ..
