Hi friends! I’ve noticed my girls enjoying eating these little white bugs that appear when I run the hose in my planter. Any idea what these are and are they safe for them to eat!!?? Usually chickens know what’s edible so I’m hoping so because they really enjoy them! 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️🐓

Since they're eating them, I'm going with they are fine. If they free-range, imagine all the bugs they eat we don't even know about.

There's only two bugs mine don't seem to like too well and that's Boxelder bugs and Asian beetles.

Ha! I figured they know what’s good for them! They come running when I turn the hose on and these little things come out! They seem to be hiding in the dirt/mulch or grass until water hits them! Thanks for the response.
