Little white worms in poop

Oops, yeah, I'm using Equimax!

I need to pic up another small syringe for the Equimax, I only have fatter ones that can't measure a low enough dose.

I'll pick up some Permethrin soon. Last time I checked, they had pre-diluted and undiluted. Only one of them said it was okay to use around chickens. They seemed to be the same other than concentration.

Thanks for the support!

I too have battled the perpetual tapeworm and am at the point now where my whole flock is on a worming schedule to try to eliminate the tapeworm from the environment.

My vet recommended treat the whole flock, do the retreatment at two weeks, then a single treatment every three months for a year.

Unfortunately one of my hens had tapeworm again before the three month mark. It was about 5 weeks later. I do a lot to clean up poop and keep insects under control, although there’s nothing ai can do about the earthworms. The vet suggested I could worm the flock monthly for six months to try and get ahead of it.

If the tapeworm has been present in your birds’ environment for awhile, it’s going to be tough to eradicate it completely.

My problem is that my neighbour has chickens and doesn’t worm them :(
