He is really small - so delicate and cute. I fell in love with him as soon as I picked him up.
I really hope he (Jack) makes it. Birds rarely do, so I'm hoping that he does!!! He's getting better, so that's a good sign!!
If he does, I'll record his release and put it on YouTube and share it on BYC for everyone to see!!

Got this guy four days ago and man have we bonded. He is a baby magpie and his favorite place to sit in on my shoulder.

Do you plan on releasing him into the wild when he's older, or is he a pet?

Well he won't leave me so we will see. I took him outside and he never went a foot away from me. It's not illegal to keep him. His or her name is Mags.
