Well guys the magpie is my new alarm. . . wakes me up every morning at 5:30. He eats a lot and is growing. Started to fly and i have bin finding him escaping his cage sleeping by my bed. loves to go around on my shoulder. I hope your little finch or sparrow gets better.
 
No, never. If I ever had to keep him, he would be in a house cage.

He has bleeding on the brain, so the chance of him surviving has dropped dramatically.

I know the poor thing died. But I don't think he would've been happy in a house cage if he survived and got better. Of course if he had a disability then a house cage...

He got put to sleep. He had a ruptured eye and bleeding on the brain. It was the kindest thing to do.

No, if he had gotten better, we would have set him free. Unless he ended up with brain damage, then we would have kept him. But, he got put to sleep. :(
