this vid... my rooster doesn't do that now. but this rooster seems like he's a youngin' who is just learning to crow. mine all did that before. I owned 3 roosters so far. Chicken Peep, i tried to remember your name but at the last moment, it slipped from my mind. nice vid.

Thanks! Not to brag, but I just think he has the cutest little crow ever!

I bet your rooster isn't this bad:

Haha, nice. Some roosters seem like that just can't get it right.

yep, that's right. My Brownie Boy, was a RIR, now dead and he was living same time as Graysie, a Barred Rock Male. chickens raised with you love you and roosters that are not used to you can attack you. After Graysie and Brownie Boy died in a dog attack in the same night, I seen a rooster in Oklahoma that looked like him but he attacked my leg with his claws.

Brownie Boy was the better rooster, crowed real good for a rooster I thought, so manly, and was bigger than Graysie. Now I got Lil Rooster who is 50% Silver Wyandotte and 50% Brahma. and Brownie Boy was way better, that's why I named my third rooster Lil Rooster, cuz he wouldnt be as good as Brownie Boy. I want a totally different looking rooster than I ever had though.

thanks, looking forward to that. peroxide sounds like it may hurt her. growing up from ages 0-18 i swore peroxide was like the worse thing to put on a cut, but now i do it half the time. ;) Some bird-breeds only like free-range. And a bird used to that will be hard to teach them otherwise. I plan to try with my birds because in Oklahoma we are going to be living in a big farm, my fiance and I, and I don't want them dying out, especially if I get breeds like Silkie, Cochin and/or Golden Wyandotte. I am still missing one of my adult birds that was a free-ranger, I lost too many birds already. I want to prevent it as much as possible.

yeah but the Chicken Dr. Recommended it and anitiotic ointment. Yeah i lost a bird to free- ranging too. :( I miss my Lacey!
