I did scream, and I was shaking and then I kind of tripped down the stairs because I was so excited and I was showing my mom and then I started to cry...

when I got my first chicks I picked it up in complete silence and just stared at it and then started screaming at the top of my lungs "MOM MOM IT'S A CHICK!!! DO YOU SEE THIS!!!! IT'S A REAL LIVE CHICK!!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!!" then of course my grumpy eighteen year old brother pokes his head out and says "Be quiet Lydia, your waking up the whole house!" I scream in response "GABE!!! LOOK AT IT!!! IT'S SO CUTE!!" I stuffed the chick in his hands "Just feel how soft it is" I cooed "Lydia, get this wet ugly thing out of my hands" He shoved it back and left.

First time I hatched turkeys I begged my mom to let me do my math outside so I could watch them. I wouldn't stop lifting the hens up. I wonder what I'll do next Thursday

Haha! Brothers can be a pain sometimes! I would be the same way! Once my friends were over and I had chicks and I was putting them all in their faces like look at my chickies! Hehe
